Meet Ben
Veteran, Co-Owner, Lead Trainer,
Police K9 Instructor / Trainer

As a veteran, company founder Ben Searle discovered his passion for working with military dogs during his deployments, prompting his transition to a professional trainer. Ben clearly understands the impact these amazing animals can have on their owners when trained properly. Utilizing his expertise and experience, Ben now focuses on fostering strong bonds and positive relationships between dogs and their owners.
Through the implementation of tailored balance training plans designed based on the principles of operant and classical conditioning, he effectively addresses obedience and behavior, concerns, train service dogs, and works with specialized working dogs.
With a steadfast dedication to his profession, Ben consistently seeks opportunities for ongoing education. Recently, he completed the Police K9 Instructor Trainer program at Tarheel K9 in North Carolina, equipping him to train single and dual purpose K9s, develop sport dogs, and enhance skills in tracking, detection, personal protection, decoy work and handler development.

Meet Cindy
Co-Owner, Trainer

My chocolate lab's reactivity issues sparked my journey as a trainer. Like many of our client’s dogs, mine had severe reactivity issues, barking, jumping, or cowering when meeting people/dogs or new situations. Going for a walk was a nightmare!
After traditional methods and trainers failed to get results, I began pursuing training courses, studying and reading extensively. Learning to use a balanced training approach, how to read her body language and to communicate effectively with her changed everything. Today, she is my favorite travel partner, loves being around other dogs and people, and can support mobility needs.

Drawing on over 30 years as a special educator, I worked to provide supports and programing to enhance the quality of life for adults and youth with disabilities. As a result I understand the profound impact dogs can make in their owners lives and the difference, and long-term success a tailored training plan has is meeting the specific needs of dog and owner.
Ben and Cindy are a dynamic team, bringing resilience, empathy, and passion to their work. Together, they transform the lives of dogs and their human companions.
